Dr George Zeng has been serving as a professional accountant and senior executive for more than 25 years.
He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accounts. George started his professional career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen, he then joined ABN AMRO Asia as an investment analyst covering China-related public companies for 4 years. Started from 2001, he backed to corporates serving as Financial Controller or Chief Financial Officer and has accomplished a number of IPO and M&A projects for private and public companies. His experience and expertise cover stock exchanges in Hong Kong and London, and countries across Asia, North America and Western Europe with a multinational and multicultural working environment.
George holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master’s degree in Finance and a Doctoral degree in Business Administration. He keeps learning and makes himself update of the new rules and regulations in the accounting and investment areas, and adaptable under the increasingly complex macroeconomic changes. These has equipped him to be dynamic and able to manage complex business issues and projects in an orderly, timely and effective manner.
He also serves as a member of the Advisory Board (Accountancy) at Hong Kong Lingnan University and is enthusiastic to coach/mentor youngers on academic and professional development.
